The 2013 Skull Camp at Round Peak Vineyard

What’s New at Round Peak Vineyards for 2013

With 2012 coming to a close, it’s time to put together the Events Calendar for 2013.
Listed to the right is the schedule of events.  As you make plans for 2013, make
sure to “save the date” for all your favorite Round Peak and Skull Camp events.

In addition to our annual events like Wine Club Parties, Skull Camp Out, and the
Vineyard Stomp 5K, we have added a few new features, including a Skull Camp Beer
Club, that you won’t want to miss!

Friday Nights — We’re Open Late!

Beginning January 4, the Round Peak Tasting Room will be open late every Friday
night until 8:00 p.m.  Now, any Friday night you can stop by to sample a newly released
beer, or simply enjoy a pint or a glass of wine on your way home from work or out
to dinner.  We are doing this in place of our First Friday beer tastings.  Since
Friday is the day we tap our new beers, it is also the chance to try the latest
brews.  Of course, you can also pick up a bottle of wine or growler to go.

Make Your Own Signature Wine — Saturday, Feb. 23

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at wine-making?  This is your chance to create
your own signature blend to serve to family and friends.  Round Peak has a selection
of barrel-aged red varietals that are ready for blending and you get to be the winemaker!

The event begins by tasting the available wines as pure varietals.  After that,
you will experiment with different proportions to create your own signature blend.
Once you have it perfected, our staff will assist you in blending, bottling, and
labeling a case of your signature wine to take home with you.

Finally, you will be able to taste the blends made by others and vote on the best.
Round Peak will then make a limited production of the winning wine.

Two winemaking sessions available on Saturday, Feb. 23, 11:00-3:00 and 2:00-6:00.
Reservations are required and space is limited, with priority given to Winemaker’s
and Tasting Club Members who reserve their spot by January 31.  Cost is $300 per
couple (Winemaker and Tasting Club discounts apply) and price includes instruction,
wine, lunch, and a case of your signature blend.  Additional cases of your signature
blend or the winning wine available for purchase upon request.
