Corkcicle Wine Chiller-Clear

Chill Wine From Inside The Bottle With The Corkcicle!

Corkcicle Classic Wine ChillerSo many new wine accessories and gadgets hit the market each and every year… And over the years, we have bought more than our fair share, from products that cool wine, open it, store it, tote it, and even decorate it with reindeer and Santa Claus!!! We have fallen for just about every piece of junk that has been put in front of us.

Not all of these products are junk but from our own experience the great majority are which has caused us to ultimately become huge skeptics on these little inexpensive products marketed to improve the wine experience!

Over the holidays, in a conversation with friends the Corkcicle Wine Chiller was mentioned . The next evening when we opened a bottle of wine the we got to see the Corkcicle in action for the first time. It actually worked.

How Does It Work?

This works for maintaining the the best temperatures for both white and red wines. For white wines just throw the Corkicle in the freezer for about 90 minutes and then pop it into your wine bottle just like a regular cork. For red wines that taste better at warmer conditions, just insert it at room temperature.

We went to Amazon to see how customers rated this product: Out of 322 reviews 206 gave it a 5-star rating and 57 gave it 4-stars. There were some people that gave it a 1-star and we will address what they had to say at the bottom of the page.

But Every So Often A Great Product Comes Along!

The Corkcicle Wine Chiller has been around for a couple of years but is just now growing in popularity. This is one that is worth spending the money on it costs right around $25. For the money it provides great value.

It comes in 5 or 6 different colors from white, blue and green and other colors.

The Corkcicle in our opinion is a nifty little product. If you are a person who opens up a lot of wine bottles and leaves them sitting on the table to warm it room temperature… It doesn’t taste so good after a while.

To potential solve your problem you should take a look at this product and read what hundreds of other people have to say positive about this proudct. We think its a winner, we think many people who first buy one will be back to buy a second or third.

Advantages of Attending:

You may have some friends who plan on attending a big 4-year university straight out of high school. You may feel some people look at you as not being smart when you say you plan on attending a community college.

Eases the transition from High school to College - Small classes means you will receive more one on one attention from the professors as you are beginning to learn college level curriculum.

You will save thousands of dollars in tuition costs - The tuition costs at 4 year universities has sky rocketed in recent years and there is no end in sight to these rising costs. By attending a less expensive community college for your first two years and then transfering to a four year college your total costs will be much lower

Allows you to live at home - There are many advantages to this. Save money, allow yourself a couple extra years to mature.

Gives you time to think about your career path before committing - Once you finish high school and are ready to beginning your academic journey at a 4-year institution.

Increases your level of Academic confidence - With the increased one on one time with professors available and smaller class sizes, on average a student starting out at a community college will have a much higher GPA in their first 2-years compared to if they started at a larger 4-year institution. This is really helpful if you decided to go on to earn your bachelors degree.

Nine Right and (2) Wrong Points about NC Wines

We do not work for any individual winery located in the state of North Carolina but a portion of our income does come from promoting all the different wineries in the state. Because of this we are always thrilled to see other blogs and websites report on NC wineries. In January of 2014, on the website journalnow.com, we came across an article titled Wine Wisdom, which lists nine different things you may not know about North Carolina wines.

It’s a well written pieces that you can read here.

The article makes a few good points and some that can be argued:

1. North Carolina was the largest wine producing state before Alcohol Prohibition occurred in 1920? We are not entirely convinced this is true. Up until the Civil War, the largest wine producing state in the USA was Ohio. As the war began and continued through the 1860′s many of the wineries and vineyards shut do since many of the workers were fighting in the war. But once the war ended, wine production in Ohio did resume, as it did in Other wine producing states.

And what happened to Ohio once Prohibition in 1920 hit? The wine grapes that were would have been used to produce wine were instead used to produce juices and jellies.

Do we disagree with any of the other points listed in the journalmow.com article?

2. Biltmore Estate is the most visited winery in the United States? This is a huge estate located in Asheville, NC, it is a registered U.S. National Landmark. There are many different attractions and reasons why people visit here. While it does attract an enormous amount of visitors each year only a percent of these visitors come for the winery. It’s not completely accurate to say this is the most visited winery in the United States.

The article does make some other good points we just think they didn’t take their time to research some of their claims. If you would like to learn more about the best wineries to visit in different areas of the state please visit, visit our homepage.
